For the past five years, I’ve had one winter coat. Black, of course. From this year on, I have three in my wardrobe. In addition to the black coat, I got a brown one for Christmas and I bought one more at January sale – a handsome red coat with one button. It’s very well tailored and soft. When I came home from shopping I discovered that it is made 75 % of wool and that was a pleasant surprise, because you don’t find a lot of wool and organic fabric in big retail stores.

In the last year, I’m getting more and more aware about fabrics that are good to be put on your skin. I began to look for clothes made from cotton and wool and I’m starting to avoid clothes made from polyester, elastane, or acrylic.

Natural fabrics are softer and more comfortable. The fabrics breath and you can wear them for a long time. Usually, clothes made from natural fabrics are more expensive than synthetic but lately, I’m realizing that it’s worth it and it is better to “buy less and more quality clothes”. This is not realized yet but I’m putting a lot of thoughts into this. I have a long way to go, but at least it’s a start.
