Most of our trip to the Checz Republic was free time. We had some work to do but mostly we enjoyed a wonderful trip. The whole royal experience was completed with our sleeping choices. On both occasions (Karlovy Vary and Prague) we stayed in the heart of the center. In Karlovy Vary, we slept in beautiful newly renovated Bohemia Rhapsody Apartments. They are Luxurious apartments in a historic building right on the colonnade opposite the main spa spring Vřídlo with exceptional river views and historical monuments. We had a great stay with walking distance to everything.
In Prague, we decided to stay in the old bourgeois apartment called Old Town Apartment. It was magnificent. With a high ceiling, big bedrooms, wonderful kitchen, and bench in front of the bed. I don’t know why but for me to have a bench in front of the bed is a dream come true. Maybe I like it because I think it makes the bedroom more special. With the bench in front of the bed, the bedroom isn’t just a room for sleeping anymore but becomes a place to hang out, a room where you can have tea and work on your computer. You can sit on it and have breakfast, you can lie on it and read a magazine or play with your phone, watch movies, read books, have a tea in cozy pajamas or you can roll over on the bed and relax. For now, our bedroom at home doesn’t have enough space for a bench like this. But you never know: my mother got herself a new bedroom at her sixties so everything is possible. 🙂
