I love pearls. They are very elegant and chic. You don’t need a lot of them to make a statement. They are exquisite. The first pearl I ever bought were for earrings for my prom night. On the day of the prom, my dad gave me a pearl bracelet that matched the earrings. I was – and I still am – in love with that jewelry set. I treasure them in a special jewelry bag and I didn’t wear them ever again. I take it out of the closet every once in a while to admire it and then put it back in the bag again. It’s too special to be worn for the ordinary occasion.
As years pass, I’m becoming more grown up and I’m starting to enjoy beautiful things. I always cherished beautiful things but I’ve been hiding them to keep them safe from the outside world. Now, I allow myself to enjoy in this kind of things daily. Pearls are delicate and impeccable nevertheless, I love to wear them to make a lovely day feel even more special. In this occasion, pearls are a part of the blouse with big sleeves. Cute, elegant and special details.
The second thing I learned in my grown up time is that comfort means a lot. I always loved flat ballerinas shoes. They are simple and refined. Heels are also great, especially with winter boots, but in the spring ballerinas are a winner. When I discovered these Lazzarini ballerinas I was enchanted. They are pointed and very comfortable – a perfect and hard-to-get combination. I love the nude color and fun floral front. My favorite shoes of this season for sure!
Enjoy in life and in the things you love. Days go by too fast to save something for tomorrow, next month or next year. Nobody can enjoy or live for you. If you want to go for a walk, theater, or to go to the other side of the world, just go for it. If you would like to wear something that will make you feel more special, wear it. What counts in the end is that you are happy and even if one little detail can elevate your mood, it’s totally worth it.
Couldn’t agree more about wearing what makes you happy on any given day!
Also I love the location in pictures! We spent couple of days in Opatija last summer and I found this building to be very enchanting! Makes me happy to see it here again so beautifully captured! <3
Thank you, Tanja. 🙂 Opatija and this villa are really beautiful. The architecture, parks, and sea. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway. 🙂
