Black dress to impress

In the past two years my personal style has changed quite a lot. There are two reasons for that. The first one is connected with me growing up and finding my own voice. I thought that I found that in my black and white wardrobe. But now I see that that is not the case. It’s still evolving and maturing. The other reason for changing my relationship with coloured style is Marko. He is trying very hard to put some colours in my wardrobe. Sometimes I let him, and sometimes I don’t. I will still need some time to find the best balance between black and colours. And since you are reading this: Welcome to be a part of my personal style development! 🙂

For now, I have found out I like elegant silhouettes and single colour pieces. My this-year’s-summer-enthusiasm for maxi dresses totally fits in this category. I adore them. I bought this elegant black maxi dress two years ago and it’s timeless. The fabric is so light, it floats perfectly around you and you almost don’t feel you have it on. The two other maxi dresses that I love are Drape V Neck Belted Dress and Halterneck Drape Dress. They all are so different and beautiful. The best thing with maxi dress is that you can wear it for any occasion. For lunch, for going to the beach or evening event. It fits great with flats or heels. Maxi dress is a perfect summer piece that will never go out of style.
